Inexplicable things in Destiny (inexplicable = unexplained/unexplainable)

For starters, I have had a ton of fun playing Destiny and continue to do so. It was well worth the money. There are things in Destiny that absolutely cannot be explained; they make no sense; there is either no story behind them or no application/purpose/integration of them. Feel free to answer these if you actually can (somehow by miracle private communications with the lord RNGesus): 1) What does the Speaker do? Why do we put up with the Speaker? 2) What does a class item from the Speaker do? 3) What is the function of a traveller? 4) What is the point of joining a guild (FWC, New Monarchy, Dead Orbit)? 5) What is the difference between guilds, other than their little one-sentence description? 6) Why does the general situation never change? (Same number of enemies and types on all the planets... etc. Its a stalemate) 7) What is the vanguard working on down there all the time? They never seem to communicate anything to us? 8) Who are the nine? What do they do? 9) What does the Queen do? What has she been up to? 10) Is the traveller dead? Is it ever going to do anything again? There is not even a whisper about what might be going on, its just been a wallpaper. 11) Why would I care which guild I joined? What differentiates a guardian from one guild from another? 12) Where does Eres Morn come from? 13) Where do the three Guardian races come from? How did they all end up in our solar system?

  • As far as I can tell, the Speaker's class items represent mementos from Guardian history. Some are the class items of famous Guardians (Ana Brey's wolf cloak), some represent Guardian orders or councils (the secret order that believes the Traveler is bad*, the council set up after the Faction Wars, or various Titan orders), and some commemorate events. A handful of them represent unexplained arcane curio (a hunter cloak that shows a pattern forged in the City's probability kilns, or a Warlock band that's an unknown algorithm.) *Why he sells these is beyond me. They should be random wilderness chest drops.

  • Some have claimed that the different class items the speaker sells affect what drops you get from killing enemies

The speaker is the voice of the travler. Apparently the travler doesn't have much to say The travler brought us the ability to inhabit Venus, Mars and if the story continues other planets. The Humans are the group that stayed on earth or in this solar system. The awoken are humans that left and lived in deep space that's why they look so diffrent. The Exo's are a race of AI created by humans for combat.
