Crucible - Supers are broken and unfair - but they can be fixed!
The concept of Supers is appalling. Occasional one-hit insta-genocide abilities of mass destruction? That's not fair!
Here's how they can be altered in order to return peace to the Crucible^^.
[b]Titan[/b]
[i]Striker[/i]
- Fists of Bannock
Striker Titans now throw pieces of bread at their enemies*, which they can eat in order to reduce the cooldown timer of their own Supers!
[i]Defender[/i]
- Ward of Yawn
Anyone who enters the Ward has their weapons and melee disabled, including the Titan who placed it down. Player speed is also reduced by 100%, and only the D-Pad gestures can be performed.
[b]Warlock[/b]
[i]Void Walker[/i]
- Nova Ball
The Nova Bomb has now been replaced with the purple ball from the tower. Once a Warlock has thrown the Nova Ball, all combat related activities are disabled, and all players must try to win the match for their team by being the one to kick the ball outside of the map on the opposing team's side.
[i]Sunsinger[/i]
- Radiance
Once a Sunsinger activates Radiance, they are rendered immobile and serve as a temporary campfire, which Guardians can gather around and roast marshmallows** and tell ghost stories***.
[b]Hunter[/b]
[i]Gunslinger[/i]
- Golden Fun
Upon use of this Super, the Hunter strikes a pose reminiscent of 20th century disco, and summons a sparkling pistol that fires confetti and glitter^.
[i]Blade Dancer[/i]
- Arc Maid
When a Hunter activates this Super, they summon a Swiffer duster, and can use it to clean off the dust from their teammates armor, increasing their speed by 5%.
*All the bread is freshly baked, stale bread was occasionally hitting enemies in areas with less armor, and causing discomfort.
**The sticks used for roasting marshmallows de-spawn once Radiance ends, or in the event a Guardian tries to poke someone's eye out.
***The stories being told must be kept short and child friendly (Titans get frightened easily).
^Gunslingers will still have to aim where they want to shoot the confetti. This is to ensure they don't lose the status of being the class that has the Super which requires skill to use.
^^Shotguns and Fusion Rifles are completely fine in every way possible.
