Am I the only one who thinks that the Warlock's Glide is pitiful and useless? With the Lift you can go higher and get up to ledges, and it seems as if I can go farther while using the titan's Lift. Sometimes, if when I use the Glide in midair, I go down. What do you guys think?

Edited by DarthZero0: 6/10/2015 9:18:28 AMI'm about to educate you folks on warlock jumps. So to begin each class has it specialty with jumping. Titan heighth, hunter speed, and warlock distance. But does anyone know that the warlock can move faster on land than any other class? Having focused burst equipped and tapping the jump button again on a downward momentum will boost you towards the ground and since the warlock has the best controlled jump you can jump continuously near the ground. Secondly did you know that a warlock can go higher than a titan? Max agility on sunslinger and equip a weapon with +2 agility when you activate radiance at the peak of glide you will flyhigher. Although you can't use it often still allows you to go anywhere a titan can. But my over all point is glide>everything. That is all. Enjoy

Not better or worse. Just different. Titans boost is pretty forgiving. The warlocks glide can actually get you moving very quickly, while giving you in-air control options you dont get with other classes.
-
What are we digging up 6 month old threads? Bury it.
-
I think the Hunter's jump is worse than the Glide. I love the Glide personally. I can reload while gliding away, and it still goes pretty high if you double-tap jump quickly.
-
Titan= best jump I'm the game Warlock=worst jump in the game
-
Titan lift is MUCH better, its much faster and easier to control than Warlocks glide.
-
I have all classes unlocked and each class's jump is different. But I still prefer my warlock by a mileZ
-
Titan. But to be fair Warlock was my last build, wound up deleting.
-
I like titans because they can jump very high. I like warlocks because they can cover the most distance out of the three classes.
-
Titan Warlocks jump is unreliable Sometimes I don't jump high enough to even jump rope Other times I actually jump so high that I still haven't came back down yet
-
Edited by MJVigs: 1/15/2015 4:14:23 PMGlide is momentum based, it actually takes you higher and father than a Titan if used properly. I'm a warlock and glide is by far my favorite jump in the Destiny. Focused burst is the best perk for glide.
-
I agree with you man...
-
Blink>glide>lift>double jump
-
I hate glide It goes farther horizontal but vertical the titan wins. Hunters jumps are just plain embarrassing.
-
The warlock jumps ALL depend on 1 factor: your character's momentum. You have to build up some kind of directional velocity before you can actually jump. Warlock jumps (cept blink) sucks
-
Alot of Warlock noobs in here that don't know how to use the 'A' button. Let me find that vid I mDe where twice in one game I made a Hunter miss all 4 GG shots because I glide/dodged them all
-
It's good target practice if it's not used correctly...
-
You are using Glide wrong. Anybody with half of a brain knows not to use a skill called GLIDE if you are falling and want to go up. This is obvious. Do you even know what the word "Glide" means?
-
Glide takes you so much further.... Lift has slight height increase, not a lot. But with enough agility, a warlock can match it if the titan is normal.
-
The only reason why you'd need to jump on a ledge is to cheese the abyss anyway easier, in what other way are you going to need to jump on a ledge that's too far away
-
Titan lift only will take you up so if you miss a high jump you fall to your death warlock takes you up and down
-
Without upgrades absolutely it goes to lift but with focused burst on glide I think it's pretty even
-
Floofing
-
Admit it. This is because you can't do the new abyss cheese isn't it?
-
Agreed. Warlock glide is a bit crap.
-
Vs hunters jump? Nope nvm hunters can't even...
