I work 7 to 10 hour days. When I come home, I want to have the pleasure of playing Destiny stress free. Just to unload for the day and enjoy the game with my friends. Unfortunately yesterday, I couldn't do that because I had the [b][i]worst[/i][/b] raid experience of my life. I decided to help my friend out levelling up her 3rd character. We decide to do the Vault of Glass on Hard. We have done this tons of times before so it shouldn't be that difficult. Especially if most of us are 30 or higher. Anyway, we get these two people into our group from a friend's friends list. A really chill dude which I'm sure was stoned out of his mind the whole raid and some British douche. We never played with these people before but man was it a mistake. These two guys were too Alpha dominant and just were butting heads the whole raid. This was only a problem because of this British guy that joined. The whole raid he would [b][i]always[/i][/b] 1-up people and put others down if we didn't do things his way. Of which were the most difficult and ludicrous strategies that I have ever heard for the Vog. Compounded by the fact that he wanted to wipe every time he went down for the sole fact that "we couldn't do the strategy without him". Even though we did :p. I eventually called him out on it and I decided to just get through the raid and get the hell out. Never again will I play with that type of player in anything. I don't understand why people play like this. If you are killing the friendly feel good vibes, I'm not going to put up with it. I didn't pay $60 dollars to get yelled at by some stranger. I get enough crap from my girlfriend drama and work, I don't need any additional bullshit. Just some advice for other players. You paid for your console and your games. Don't let some jerk boss you around and put you down. Own up, call em out, and handle it.
