Is there something wrong with me?

I was just looking as some SC: CT screens, and all of a sudden, i got that feeling... ya know... that wavy feeling you got when u were waiting for halo 2 (well, i got it). Im starting to think this game could be better than halo 2 was. is there something wrong with me?

  • yep. You could play it...and leave us alone if you don't like Halo 2. The Flood is not the place for whiners or complainers. If you want to say anything bad, take it to New Mombasa. That place has been overrun by complaints. You will blend right in.

  • Cyanide is a relatively simply molecule, formula wise. Just One carbon atom and one Nitrogen atom. Nasty considering its simplicity... If its that licking your lips in anticipation thing you're talking about, congrats. Just remember it can be your downfall... Though how come it's only recently that all these stealth games decided to give you a fuggin knife? Budget contraints? Resident Evil bothered giving you a knife against stupid zombies (granted the only good iteration of the knife was in Code Veronica), yet a special forces commando equiped with all this whizbang gear can't even bring a knife...[/rant]

  • Actually, cyanide isn't a molecule, it's a polyatomic anion, charge -1. In most cases, cyanide is produced in the form of Sodium Cyanide (NaCN), which is the stuff people dissolve in people's drinks when they want to assassinate them. NaCN itself isn't poisonous, however, it reacts with the Hydrochloric acid in your stomach to form Hydrogen cyanide gas (HCN), which is very poisonous. Interestingly, in Russia, an attempt on Rasputin's life was made with cyanide, however it did not kill him. When you are a baby, your stomach is basic, not acidic, and some people never develop stomach acid - thus HCN doesn't form. Rasputin was one of these people, and a myth spread that he was invincible when he didn't die. And who said chemistry was boring? - Reiginko

  • Wow. This is one weird thread. Isn't there Cyanide tipped bullets? Hold on here, I'm just thiking, what would be the point of Cyanide tipped bullets if they didn't hit your stomach? If a cyanide bullet hit anywhere else on your body, it would just be a normal bullet coated with a chemical. There;d be no reaction with the cyanide. Whoever said they had a dump and went to bed, that made my day. Good job.

  • Well bullets do leave holes...and if one of them hits your stomach. it's good game peace out for you. Damn you Reiginko, it's been a semester since I've taken chem and we never got to that fun stuff. All we got was lame ass recystallization. It being in salt form does explain why it's so easy dissolve though. True that might explain Rasputin eating enough cake to kill a pack of elephants, but that still doesn't explain him getting beaten, and shot multiple times, being left to bleed to death, and still being alive several hours later. Hell it wasn't until they threw him into the river that he died...from drowning....
