So I'm going to start a Titan, any tips...
I have a level 28 hunter..
I have an exotic Titan helmet and decided I should have a Titan!
Is there anything I should know about Titans

MAN most of you guys are defender subclass fans, I'll start as a striker but I will soon switch to defender!
Edit: lol so many Replies! For those who like striker they are telling me to use shoulder charge and flash bang grenade!

When the time has come for VoG, use Defender with Weapons of Light and pop the Ward of Dawn while the team is firing on the center platform. But don't use shield in the center, use it behind the AoE of the Relic. Double damage boost is insane if you have IB or Ghorn. Thats the best i can say for now.

2 RepliesWhen playing pvp and u r inside ur bubble and u see people that see u but are scared to come in hr bubble. Wave, dance, it draws them in ur bubble to be punched. Love it

I'd start with Striker, yeah. It's by far the best class for solo play at least until you get the Saint helmet and can be more aggressive with the bubbles. But try to level up Defender as well, it's great for endgame stuff. Otherwise, just enjoy.

3 RepliesStriker learn to master and love the lightning grenade. You aim for the walls and it destroys. Great for getting enemies hiding in cover, or putting above a spawn door. Make sure you are clear of that first spike though, I've goofed many solo nightfalls hitting myself with this haha

6 RepliesDon't get stuck in a grove with one sub class there's a time for both. Rank them both up and be sure to use armour to suit. Switch between them freely deepens on what you or your team needs and weapons of light is a must on defender

Being a defender is definitely beneficial to your team. I restarted my Titan, and will start leveling up my defender class, but I have too much fun trolling in crucible with striker. I even shoulder charged a fellow Titan right before he did his Fist of Havoc xD

If it's your first titan definitely max Stryker first. Its so much fun to play! But if you intend to raid as soon as you hit 20 and throw gear on it, work on the defender first. The defender is a pivotal role in a raid and is really am asset to the team. Most probably won't agree with this but I run high intellect and strength. I like getting my super fast and the force barrier will save your life many times. Most of my gear replenishs grenade energy with melee hits or kills so my grenades come quick without too high of a discipline

2 RepliesAs a titan you can get anywhere possible with practice of your perks.... Shoulder charge is great and even your super gives you extra lift... Trust me, you are the ultimate explorer

1 ReplyI main a titan (level 32) and have an alt (31). I dont swap gear. Here are some tips: -Use the perk on defender where you generate orbs once barrier is active via melee kills and pair it with the perk for tour bubble generating orbs the more it's hit. Also, throw on weapons of light and the perk which increases it's duration. All of those together and you are an orb machine. The ultimate tank/support class bar none. If you target small mobs with your melee w/barrier you generate so many prbs it seems endless for your teammates. -the only jump you should use is the one that adds height to lift. It makes the titan the ultimate character for getting around. -you can easily speed run strikes with the titan due to the high armor and recovery potential. Take advantage. -try to get your loadout to favor strength if you like running and gunning. Storm fist with the perk to cause area of effect damage is amazing. -the helm of inmost light is a pvp helmet. -shoulder charge is amazng. Use it ad nauseam while striker is equipped. -enjoy the master race. TITAN OUT

1 ReplyPunching is your friend. Defender punch to gain shield. Striker pure hulk rage. Get gear that boost melee attack speed. You can shoulder charge and turn the camera mid strike and immediately use a storm fist on a second target.

1 ReplyYeah defender is the bread and butter for raid with the shield and weapons of light. Add that with helm saint-14 and you can save a raid wipe. Striker is awesone in a raid too with flashbangs and armamentarium. The melee abilities can save your ass with the defender overshield and striker fast regeneration, but yeah stay away from bigger mobs cuz they will mess you up. Ruin wings is good combined with a machine gun and generating orbs from kills. You get extra heavy ammo drops from the ruin wings which means more orbs for everyone cuz your machine gun is out alot.
