Unpopular opinions on these forums
I already have a feeling I'm gonna regret making this But Oh Well.
On these forums I usually state my opinion. That's Fine right? Apparently not to anybody who disagrees. I would be lying if I said I never judged someone's opinion But I try to be respectful when I reply. I prefer to debate rather than argue. It's a shame you can't voice an opinion here without People insulting you. Whether it's how stupid you are, your grammar, your idea, or how many syllables you use. I know this sounds very naive but i personally feel there is no community support on these forums. This truly bothers me. The main reason why people are such jerks on here is because they aren't in the same room as you. It would be nice to see some form of community support on here in general. I saw in #offtopic where a boy was having troubles with his girl. Almost everybody who commented was very supportive and tried helping. But then i go everywhere else and i see all this hate. It would be nice if we could act civilized on these forums instead of like children. Perfect world right?

The feedback forum is the worst out of any of them. Even if you have a point, great opinion, great suggestion or whatever, those scabs will try and get you into a fight on their level. The name calling, trolling, and keyboard warrior bullshit is too thick in there for me anymore. Those are some really miserable people.

Don't worry about those guys talking shit in the forums, they are keyboard warriors and would shit themselves if the talking was face to face, they feel so badass here but in the real word they aren't worth a dime, can't do anything but laugh and even feel deeply sorry for them.

Used to be a good community here During Halo and Reach. Now with Destiny Bungie ticked off people. Just the Community is going through some not so nice changes with all the drama. Only ones you need to watch for is trolls and just over opinionated people who are ignorant of others. Narcissist to the extreme. I try to be accepting of everyone but just banning people you do not like is wrong unless you have facts that prove they are not following the rules. Does not mean they do not have a value of sorts. If they are not breaking rules or social expectations. then no fowl.(Tiger-Man approves of this misspell.) B.Net like any other Community is changing and growing. Chaos is the current state with borderline revolution. Most of the old timers are disappointed so they are staying away until positive changes are made. When that happens the good person to troll and asshat ratio will rise.

Like in any group dynamic, people will follow the lead of those they see as having power. Set a low standard, one base on arrogance, and bungie.net will be born.

If someone has replied to me (or just posted in a topic I'm reading) badly spelled invective I just assume they are immature and mute them at the first offense. If it's literally just swearing I report it too. About 30 mutes so far, and it's actually not too bad around here now so it's really the minority that are mucking it up for you. Give that mute button a try :)
