As you approach the level cap almost everyone has the same gear. The only thing that lets you look a little different is the shader and maybe your exotic armor. Bungie, it would be nice to add cosmetic item slots that only change the appearance. The stats would still come from the normal item slots. Then every guardian would have more of a unique identity.
