Destiny is a work in progress I'm sure that 85% of players know this. I get the crucible is fun and you play against "real people" but besides the hoping for good loot to drop i find it pointless.
The Iron banner comes out and it's a bit different but to me no same then grinding a prestige in call of duty. There is no challenge in the crucible none to make me actually want to play. Or even try hard I find myself just going thru the motions. I get that off of wins and bounties lies your only experience but still for what guns or armour that don't even compare to raid gear or other weapons?
I as a gamer who loves nothing more then PvP or multiplayer online. Would like to have a seperate ranking system for the crucible. We have our light levels but that's really for just for PvE IMO. I mean Bungie you made halo 2s ranking system which to me a win you go up a loss you don't or you derank that's a pretty good way of keeping multiplayer fun.
I like a challenge when I play or players who are around my skill level. Give me something to play for besides a mote of light or a Engrams

I want. Badly. So I can display my superiority off to everyone else
-
Christmas bump
-
You mean like the combat rating?
-
Destinytracker.com? I believe it shows full pvp and pve stats
-
Merry Christmas to everyone by the way. Hope your all with friends or loved ones
-
Yes yes yes!!! Halo 2 or 3 ranking would be great!
-
Bump this one!
-
I would absolutely love to see this happen.
-
I'm only interest if the last ranks are moons (full and crescent), the sun and etc. Halo 2 Style!
-
I hate to bring CoD into destiny, but what if we had a ranked playlist like league play in BO2. I think there would be more grind in PvP and to see how you stack up against other players. Just a thought

Edited by CriminalClient: 12/25/2014 5:51:49 AMWant gear system similar to wow. Basic PvP gear for the casuals abd higher gear for those that PvP a lot
-
Want it. Especially for iron banner. Ladder systems and gear rewards equivalent. A lot they could do with it and it gives pvpers a path to max level. They could do PvP seasons with different unique gear for each season you can get no other way and goes away when the season ends.
-
I was actually thinking about this the other day. It'd be nice if they split up the PVE and PVP levels up. And, like you've said, have a halo 2 ranking system in place. Brilliant idea.
-
hopefully bungie beings it back i love try harding in crucible i love try harding against other try hards even more
-
Edited by JHarv: 12/25/2014 5:54:34 AMDestiny will never have that. If Bungie feels a trade system (economy) and loot rewards are too much for the casual crowd it is appealing to, there's no way you're gonna see ranked matchmaking and competitive functions and such.

If only... Even when you find a good player in Rumble, it's usually just a race to kill everyone else quicker. In about 800 Rumble games, I've only ever had one match where everyone in the lobby was of near equal skill.

This would be awesome I'd want to know how I rank with the rest of the world....even when I suck
-

-
Ranking would be amazing or just keep iron banner all everyday for the extra skilled players for better loots drops as well
-
A ranking system would make people come back to play more. At the moment I don't feel much of a need to play crucible. Some of my Friends have dropped out of the game because of the lack of stuff to do, and one dropped out because the pvp wasn't meaningful

Hopefully people read and see this
