Idk if anyone else has noticed, but the new Undying Mind strike is literally the Black Garden mission, only backwards. I was playing with my friend on his new, low level character. We were finishing the story and I noticed how familiar the Black Gardens setting looked.
It's literally the same thing backwards. How can Bungie advertise this as a brand new strike when it's just a reskinned mission with a few new enemies? I can deal with a lot of the problems Destiny has, but something like this is downright lazy, aggravating, and highly upsetting. How can a company that created such a huge franchise(Halo), with massive amounts of content, now put out such subpar crap?
Destiny is a good game, but Bungie continues to kill its chances of redemption.

Half of Halo CE was doing the levels in reverse. I actually thought the strike was pretty cool not for the boss but for getting there and killing the most difficult adds this game has.
-
It is a brilliant glimmer farm though. Pop a blue at the start and earn 1000s by the end, especially with the yellows on the stairs and the alternate teleports on the boss.
-
I guess that is the Ps4 exclusive? I feel less jelly now at least.
-
Thank activision for that
-
Noticed that immediately as well.. didn't take a single ounce of enjoyment away from me however. It is quite fun and is now my favorite strike in the game.
-
Because it was the ps4 exclusive strike. Nuff said

Hey a strike is a strike. Backwards or not it still looks new from that angle. the biggest issue here is; They had months to plan this after all the bad launch press. They have time I make the DLC have a storyline that makes sense. What do they do? Include a strike that has NOTHING to do with CROTA. Not only that, there is very little story here. The game is awesome but they dropped the ball here. Funny Deej had a video interview where he says "we're making a much richer story for players in this DLC" lmao that's them putting effort?

What's funny is that everyone complains about exclusives but they aren't all that great The two strikes are skipped the most Out of the three exclusive weapons only one is really good (Hawkmoon), The 4th horsemen is just an version of invective. Monte Carlo is Good for PVP only due to melee recharge. These things were new and exciting at first and it was a bit fun to have something to lord over other players, but now it's just like meh.

Microsoft kept bungie in check with the Halo series. When Bungie got mad they couldn't do anything else the left. This is the result. I guess Microsoft was onto something when they said Bungie could only make Halo NOTE: I like this game and play everyday. I think its a good game, but Halo it is not.

I like it. I don't play the black garden mission much at all unless there's a bounty, so having a strike there is a good move. Now the area has a better use, and I like the chaos of the boss battle.

This game needed another Hydra boss...Sekrion just wasn't cutting it. How lazy do these devs have to be?

They probably played a lot of dragon age 2, and never bothered to look at how bad the sales of DA2 were vs. Dragon Age Origins.
-
Maybe you didn't notice but the other new strike is same thing. Running backwards through a place you've already been so it looks new. Both also have a new area at the end for the boss fight, but the path is a rehash.

Shit ton of Vex enemies. Bungie was just like, "Hey! Let's just take the Black Garden Mission, but we make it backwards! And we add an unnecessary amount of enemies just to make the strike seem like it's harder, but in reality, it's just a pain in the ass to have to kill em' all! And then, instead of have them go to the right, we'll make em' go to the left! Yea!! That's it!" Bungie's Creativity.. 6/10

Old news that these type of things exist, stop posting junk and come up with something interesting or original.
