Here's my guess based on DeeJ's deleted tweet about Bungie "number crunching" as well as the rest of the framework of what is going to be in the update. Which DeeJ has also mentioned via twitter will be the "end of year" update. Intro paragraph - Overly verbose introduction wishing people a happy holidays and talking about how he's killing the darkness in Crota's End. Leads into an infographic made by one of their concept artists filled with miscellaneous stats about Destiny, most likely including specific information regarding the DLC such as how many people are playing it, how many hours on average they are playing it for, how many times Crota has been killed, how many thralls or other Hive enemies have been killed. How many loot chests have been found or other such pointless information. Why? Because the DLC is getting some serious negative press (even from publications that liked Destiny originally) and such an infographic is a perfect PR way of deflecting that negativity. Next will be a paragraph talking about Iron Banner Next will probably be messages from various Bungie employees talking about the Holidays or something like that After that, probably some vague "surprise" about Christmas content being added to the game (which like the Halloween update will probably be some other grind-fest consumable with a new shader or sparrow or something like that) After that it will probably be fan art or mentioning the community in some way (not related to the novel of good suggestions for improvements) Then the customary DOC report about what new zoo animals Bungie unleased upon the game and which ones have been fixed. And that's about it, maybe a mail bag Q&A if we're lucky but I doubt it. They stopped that for good reason (because answering thousands of the same question about why the game sucks is not what I'm sure Bungie wants to spend time doing) Basically what I'm saying here is don't hold your breath people. Every update ends up the same way.
