The Dark Below story feedback (no spoilers) + general TDB feedback

COMPLETELY disappointed with the story. Bungie, did you read the reviews? The #1 complaint was that the narrative in the game was wafer thin. We always hear about how you're listening to our feedback and allowing it to help steer the improvement of the game...is 3 story missions, a strike and a raid the fruits of these claims? To be honest, it seems like you've learned nothing and have just come up with an alternative way to administer the missions to players. Incorporating the strike and raid into the narrative is a novel idea but the overall execution was crap. No cutscenes, no introduction to Eris, NO DIALOG from our Ghost in the whole thing? I would have thought dinklebot would have something to say about us taking on the god of the damn Hive but I guess he was in sleep mode? I was on the second mission when the terrible realisation sank in that I was well on the way to finishing what amounted to a bite size story that really didn't do justice to the content. Now I've put in a LOT of time into the game and I love it--evident by my total playtime across my 3 characters but I'm just really disappointed with your effort to right the wrongs of the launch game. I know that us hardcore players don't sink in countless hours consuming the story or narrative elements...we're too busy running the content with friends and leveling up...but that's no excuse to omit any kind of effort in this regard and let's be honest, there was minimal effort in this new story section. Eris had only a dozen lines of dialog and you used existing assets for the most part. I don't know what I was expecting--but when you term is €20 DLC as 'expansion' I expect to be playing at least 3-6 hours of new story content, with LARGE new areas to explore, new NPCs to engage with. It really grates me that you guys call this DLC expansion actually, it's not, this is DLC and pricey DLC at that. I don't plan on buying the second 'expansion' if it's going to be like this one. Seeing as you seemingly unable to deliver good story telling, lore or narrative through the game, I would suggest scrapping the tedious and boring as hell spaceship loading screens and giving us region specific grimoire cards to scroll through and read as we load into the different worlds. Going to the moon? Give me cards on the different Hive entities, places and lore so that I can at least get some context to the places I'm going and things I'm killing. Man I love this game so much, love the weapons, love the exotic and legendary system that enables you to come up with different playstyles and builds, love thee social elements, love the art direction, design, sound design, gun mechanics...ther's so much I love about this game and I really wish I could come along for the decade long journey you have planned but you're killing it for me. I'll be waiting to see what free updates we get in between and what you plan to offer in DLC II but chances are I'll be voting with my wallet if it is similar to this one...not that you give a damn about one customer who turns away from your product cause you're already laughing to the bank with my vanila and DLC I money. I really hope you can take the 'hate' out of my love/hate relationship with the game.
