Hi there, I have destiny on my Xbox One. I bought an xbox bundle that had the physical copy so I didn't get the digital 360 version with the free upgrade to digital xbox one version. Here's the problem though I have a friend that does not yet have it and he's only got an xbox 360 at the moment. So when I got an email the other day telling me that you can now download a free demo of destiny I quickly messaged my friend and told him to go download the free demo and that I'd download it onto my 360 too and that way we can finally play together. So after an hour of waiting I just finished the 5GB download only to find an error code when I tried to login... "Your Bungie account is not compatible with this version of Destiny". As you can imagine I'm SUPER pissed. It seems because I already own the full game on my Xbox One I can't play the demo on my 360 with my friend. So once again I'm stuck not being able to play with my friend online. Sure he may decide to buy the full game once the demo time is up but even so he's on 360 so I'll have to buy the game all over again for 360 in order to play with him. Or... he has to drop over $500 on an Xbox One and Destiny to play with me online -_- Rather disappointed I'm not permitted to play the demo simply because I already have the game on my other console. Is there any way this can be changed? I really want to get some game time in with him before the demo runs out. If the problem is something else then I'm terribly sorry for this rant :P But I can't think of anything else that this error could be referring to. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks for you time.
