Planetary Materials as Drops from Kills

Hello, I am not a huge fan of harvesting, after compiling all the materials I would need for 3 characters. Came out to about 3000. At 1 or 2 at a time that is going to be a A Lot of harvesting. I was thinking how perhaps adding Majors or Ultras as drop sources. So getting some Glimmer and Materials out of the Major mobs. Increased amounts in different level ranges may add some function to running higher level story modes other than just the daily, expand hunting areas ion open world and even add to "Patrol Missions". Something to think about as a good set on multiple characters is a lot of resources. Is this something you all could think about? Thanks! EvolovE

  • This sounds like a great idea. I personally farmed for almost an hour to get the materials I needed to max out a gun. I added it up its 72 materials per weapon to max out. That's a lot of farming

    • That plays into a thought I had. Why do I need to complete a level 24 story mission, when I can run through it faster and easier on level 18? There is no benefit. If there is no benefit, why even offer it for selection? I would vote for materials to be a reward. Say 10 materials for level 18, and 50 for level 28. While that's just an example, this concept would be fantastic. We would still have to grind some here and there, but it would reduce the frequency by, maybe, 80%??

    • What the hell do you need that many materials for? You might have messed up your calculations in there somewhere.

    • chest farm it, much quicker since you might get the 12 deposits
