3 RepliesWhat a bunch of liars. Where is my IB lv2 you F.... No lv reset my ass! Some of us were there for Bungie for a long time Before Halo, Halo, Destiny Alpha, Beta, midnight lunch. Is that the thank you that we get? The time that we put in IB is nothing now. If the shit ain't gonna improve i will quit Destiny for good and do what ever is in my power to convince others to quit too!

2 RepliesThe iron banner must've been a glitch because it's been removed and nothing had changed. I was 5 melee kills away from having all the bounties boxed off too. If bungie are not close to having the event fixed they should let us play it this week still. I'm sick of my titan looking like he dressed in the dark.

I agree with most of what you said. I play Crucible all of the time, but I am opting out of Iron Banner and I think other people should do the same. Just do regular Crucible and pretend the Iron Banner isn't even there. All it was last time was a Control, with an "Iron Banner" label anyways. Come on Bungie. Don't even bother putting out half-assed rehashed content, while going back on what YOU said regarding the faction reputation. This just leaves a real bad taste in the mouth of the consumer, and also gives us little hope that will do any of the things that you promised in the future. This is some very thin ice you are skating on...

Just made a topic with exactly the same question! We are getting it in the A-hole from Bungie again. @Freeman17: first of all they've promised that they won't reset it, see weekly updat of 10/24/2014. Second of all, should everyone who did play the first Iron Banner event get punisht so others can catch up? Third of all, you claim Iron Banner gear gets you to level 30, when clearly it is not! Take a look at the (in my case because i'm a hunter) Iron Regalia Mask, it is still the same as other legendary gear! So it will NOTget you to lvl 30. So they've lied AGAIN! Getting pretty tired of all the lies that Bungie tells us!

Last month I (and, I suspect, many other players) invested a lot of time to rank up to lev 2 reputation. I was confident that AT LEAST this achievement would not be reset when the IB would come back and I felt relieved when you confirmed this in your posts. And now? Level 0 rep again? This is NOT the way to treat players that have spent a hell of a lot of time (and a significant amount of money, on top of that) to support your game. If you make the game harder, but fair, it's all right. But if you use this kind of dirty, low tricks to "encourage" us to play more, it just becomes a fraud. IT'S NOT FUN. IT'S JUST FRUSTRATING. You should know the difference. I don't know about other players, but I am NOT investing more of my time on the IB until I know that my efforts will not be crippled by a software house that finds no better way to prolong the life of a (rather short) game than by using this type of gimmicks. Please, start listening to your fan base and restore our IB reputation.

Think of all the people that got the game since the end of the last iron banner. Wouldn't be fair to make them get 4x more xp than everyone else just because they couldn't afford the game at the time. And 3rd you have to get the new armor. That is the armor that will get you to level 30. Would be stupid to just magically put in 3 more upgrades to max out your old gear. So stop whining and play it or keep whining and sounding like a bitch.

(4 weeks apart) The IB must have been forgotten to be removed off the timer and uploaded "on time". This would explain the ranks being reset because that is how the IB was programmed to do. Will ranks be reverted back? Idk. We will probably get a notice/apology for it later.
