Facial Hair
For the guys with facial hair, why do you grow it out? Do you like it, or are you just too lazy to shave? And for those with clean faces, why don't you grow it out?
I personally started because I just didn't like shaving (my upper lip used to be extremely sensitive), and eventually it just became my style. And since I've been able to grow out a full beard since my freshman year, it earned respect from pretty much every guy in my school, friends, teammates, coaches, and teachers alike. The only who doesn't seem to like it is my girlfriend, and she complains that it makes her itchy, so she gets mad when we hug or cuddle and I rest my chin on her shoulder.
And for all 4 of the ladies here, do you like guys with facial hair or facial hair in general?

1 ReplyI just maintain 24/7/365 perma-stubble, trim it to 0.5mm every morning. Shape it using a wet razor. My facial hair's jet black so it stands out but looks groomed. Men should have some facial hair, not saying grow out a full beard but stubble at least.

Its cold in the brewery during the winter so I grow it out to help keep me warm. Like a scarf that I'm always wearing. Shave it off during the summer.

It's a man's trademark. Also I've gotten use to it! Now when I shave I feel I look like a baby. It's weird.

I have a full beard that I trim every week or so, with a 5 on my trimmer. I usually shape up my neck line with a razor.

I only shave completely two or three times a year(once at the end of October to see how long I can grow it for No shave November, and once or twice at the beginning of summer/late spring because its so goddamn hot and humid down here, and excess hair gets sweaty and itchy as all hell). Keeping it shaved off is too much of a hassle, though I do try and keep it trimmed neatly so I don't look like a bum

Facial hair, if maintained well, is the biggest -blam!-ing turn on in my opinion. I don't know how any female can NOT like facial hair -_- It's so manly and sexy whereas not having facial hair makes a dude look like a damn baby.

Beards are boss. I grew mine because I wanted to and a little bit of being too lazy to shave. I think I'm quite lucky because my beard hair is quite soft, so never had any complaints from the GF about itchiness.

4 RepliesI had a full beard since my sophomore year in highschool. I grew it out because I wouldn't get carded for cigarettes with the facial hair. Now I still have my beard because I just like the way it looks better. It's manly. My wife likes it when I keep it short, like a 2 week growth. But I prefer a more 1-2 month growth length. I once did a no shave winter. She threatened to shave it in my sleep if I didn't lop it all off on March 1st.
