Little more than a month in now and everyone has raid gear and exotics. If you don't then I have no idea what you've been doing this whole time. Point is that there's little reason to grind for much else if your a 30 with decked out gear. I get that the DLC will bring in some new stuff to up the light level, which is fine. But I feel like exotic isn't much different than some legendary, little sets them apart besides light level and slight looks. The guns for example both have the same damage cap and both normally only have 2 abilities. Sure each exotic has something special to offer that only it does but they just don't feel rare or hard to acquire. You finally get this epic drop just to find out all your friends have had it for weeks now. Make MYTHIC!!! It can be something amazing that is only received by the very few and lucky. It should make people jealous, it should be something everyone wants. It could glow like a nightfall strikers head. It should look bad ass to where no one would dare wear a shader with it equipped. The weapons could make an awesome noise when fired that everyone near would wanna see what it was that made the sound. Don't get me wrong exotics do look bad ass but when the special factor is gone and they get handed out, it ruins the reason to play the game in the first place. The vast majority of people playing this game are RPG or MMO fans and when the loot stops dropping or they have everything then what's left? MYTHIC GEAR!!! P.S. Don't take offense if you are a FPS lover and this doesn't matter to you. I love a FPS but they are a dime a dozen and you'll jump ship soon for the next one. P.S.S. Something epic... NO MYTHIC! Could change this game for the better!
