Maybe I'm just late to the party, and there is already an unofficial meeting spot in the tower for LFG, then I'd like to know where it is? If one doesn't exist already, I'd propose the bar, and some ideas for how bungie could make it official. The bar is an obvious social spot. And if Bungie gets behind it, they could make it official, and give the bartender a good backstory, and make him an Official LFG NPC. After all a bartender is generally a good person to ask for Intel. Benefits of an in game spot over using online methods: 1. Create temporary fire-teams 2. Don't have to use friend spots on PSN/XBL. (Or if you aren't comfortable adding people you don't know to your network) 3. Encourages social activity, for making groups, rather than just random matchmaking. 4. Don't have to leave in-game to check online. Keeps social aspects inside the game rather than online. The bar could be an obvious social spot for other NPCs as well. Trading and Posting - Similar to an auction house (Probably going to get grilled for this one) but not so much for auctioning gear and weapons. More as trading resources, ie. Buy 10 helium filaments for 30 spinmetal or 1000 glimmer or something like that. Just a few thoughts I had while playing.
