I think it would be cool if bungie or DeeJ would start answering atleast one backstory related question in their weekly update. I know they have the grimoire cards, and that was a very interesting system, but still left me asking more questions than they answered. I don't think the questions they choose answer have to be storyline critical, but simple tidbits of random backstory info that continually paints this wonderful mosiac of a world bungie has made for us to play in. What do you think?
My burning questions are:
1. What is the Consensus? Is it a pure democracy legislative body (Every citizen of the City has a vote in all legislative prcesses) or is it a democratic representative body, kind of like an elected senate? I'm really interested in the politics and government of the Last City on Earth.
2. What were the Ahamkara, and what exactly did they look like?
3. Other than the City, the Reef, and possibly Palamon and Jovian Colonies (Xur and the Nine) are there any other human settlements, nomadic communities still in existince on the Frontier? Will we be able to explore them some day (ruins of Blind Watch is a Crucible example or Palamon)?

Though the story in it's current state is extremely lacking i love how there are other people who have taken time to look through the grimmoire. I myself have found myself intrigued by what i have learned so far from the grimmoire and am eager to see what they implement into the game itself :)

Pretty sure the Consensus is the culmination of a variety of different influential political, military, and religious entities. The Speaker, the Vanguard, the Crucible(Lord Shaxx), Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, The Future War Cult, all have places in the Consensus. Kind of like a round table where decisions are made.

By the way, I totally agree with you on this :D

4. Why exactly was the Concordant faction banned by the Vangaurd from the Tower, and what ever happened to their leader Lysander?
