The crashing seems to kick in if you apply an update or attempt to repair/reinstall the app. There has been a lot of talk about fixing this, but not much action. A few of the proposed fixes end up clearing your game progress ... so you may as well do a complete delete/re-purchase. The game is average, and does get a little slow/boring quickly as it tends to be the same thing over again. Also found the last of multi/pass play left it without any challenge. I prefer the social play from these type of games ... short turns or the challenge of beating other peoples score - this games more for someone who plays alone. Shame the free play option was removed. Try for a free code - but guess the price wont be a killer given you aid for the iPad already ... but know what you mean
