Having a really tough time with this "bee" error code

I am starting to get really upset with Destiny as a whole. I get disconnected quite often due to this "bee" error code. From what I can tell, Bungie has done some work in regards to this issue and that is appreciated, but I cannot stay in a Crucible match for more than five minutes tops without hitting this "bee" error. My frustration comes in when I have to finish an exotic bounty in the Crucible and I can't get the requirements because I can't play in the Crucible playlist. Another area of frustration is during the VoG raid. I was playing yesterday after finally finding a group for the raid (took us almost an hour to find one) and we get into the vault and after about 5-7 minutes I hit the "bee" error code again. In my mind, I am thinking that I dropped $60 on a game that I can't fully play. After doing some of my own research, I have fiddled with my ports and I have set them to the settings that Bungie has recommended and I have had no success. Now it has fixed my NAT type to Open which is good, but I see no fixes when it comes to Destiny. I did more research and I looked into my bandwidth. Now my bandwidth is really low, but other games seem to work just fine. Now if Destiny does not work on low bandwidths, there should really be a "Requires X Amount of Bandwidth" notice instead of "Requires Internet" notice on the game case. You guys have a great game and I would really enjoy taking on the activities beyond the bounties and strike playlists. I really do not want to think that I wasted money on a game because my internet connection is not good enough.

  • Ok, I understand you issue, but I'm not getting any errors. This could be a simple fact that you don't have the NAT to play Destiny. I could be wrong with that though. With that being said, if that is the case then it is your connection to bungie, making this your ISP's fault. Don't sell or break the game yet however. This probably will be fixed in the near future. There is always the option of a full reinstall as well. I hoped my advice has helped a little bit.

Was really hoping the big patch was going to help my similar bee issues and I'd be able to get stuck into this iron tournament thing. 1st game 2 bee disconnects, managed to join back with friends a third time before the game ended declaring me to have zero score. Utter rubbish bungie. I only play online with friends (who are not having the issues) so all they hear from me is a non stop tirade of disappointment and frustration. If 64 player battlefield runs fine, how can 12 player be so hard to manage? And just when I had given up any hope of a decent game I decided to head for the tower to sort out kit before bed. But no, out of nowhere. My first ever... Zebra! Can't believe bungie are making themselves look like such amateurs over this.

      • I've been having a seriously problem with it since after the first week of its release. Now it's more frequent after the "fix". As of today I've basically been restricted to Orbit as whenever I try to go anywhere the cruel bee is awaiting me.

      • Guys... this i in fact a bandwidth issue... if you have a low bandwidth... you won't be able to play Destiny for extended periods of time while in PvP... I wish this wasn't the case, but it is true. I don't have a problem running strikes or patrols. I run at 1.5 Mbps down and 0.5 Mbps up... I can't get better internet without paying $2500 to run a line to my house... For all of you guys with low bandwidths... I am sorry but we are collectively screwed. I fear this is where the video game world is heading... if you don't have the best connection... you can't play games.

        • Agreed. I get kicked every 15 minutes or so, no matter what I am doing. I just started a new character with a new class and was in the end stretch of a story mission by myself when it cut out. I just turned my Xbox One off. I don't have a ton of time to play, so wasting my time playing a story mission or any activity to not finish it and get no rewards either... it isn't worth it.

          • Yep this BEE Bs is pissin me off to end had the nightfall in the bag just killed the boss and bam BEE no rewards no filled in strike bubble nothing all tht effort for jack shit getting fed up tbh and will be tradin this game in if not fixed soon

            • Same bee errors here after patch and like many I can play small crucible modes but not 6v6. I also get kicked from the tower. I think it is an issue with tick rate and code compensating for lag (although I have zero expertise to make such claims). The amount of postmortem kills could not have been engineered on purpose. Respawning and the timer freezes worse as the match progresses until I eventually get kicked. I have finished the odd game, strangely, where someone has left or perhaps been kicked first. I just hope that aspects of the patch used to monitor these errors will reveal an obvious flaw that can be addressed.

              • It is the stupid Destiny Bungie servers not my internet connection that they constantly keep blaming. NONE OF MY OTHER GAMES HAVE ANY ISSUES WHATSOEVER. This open port bull crap that Bungie throws in our faces the whole time is total BS. This only applies when you are behind an administrated firewall or proxy. If you have a normal DSL line with a router in your house then there should be no problems. None of my other x1 games have any issues but with Destiny I can't play for longer than 10min before being disconnected. My friend in the same street connecting to the same telephone exchange and whose internet is serviced by the same ISP plays Destiny on his PS4 no problems. Bungie this is worse than bad. The cost of this game is astronomical and for four weeks I've tried playing but I can't finish one mission. I demand a bloody refund because this is robbery and poor service at its best.

              • Amen brother, Same issues since launch. I would think my bandwidth is good enough it always has been in the past 3mbps download 1 up. I am usually able to play rumble pit without getting to many errors (1-3 a night) but any 6v6 gametype and im kicked 3 minutes in .....I cant imagine 6 people are adding that much data to the stream.

              • Exact same thing. I played this game perfectly fine up until just recently, and now, everyday it just gets worse and worse instead of better. I can't stay connected for more than 5 minutes no matter what I'm doing, strike, patrol, story, doesn't matter, few minutes and you're disconnected. I think the only thing I can be in for more than 5 minutes if tower...sometimes. I know for a literal fact that it's not my net connection because my friend plays on the exact same playstation that i do, and he has NO connection issues. Same playstation, one guy has no issues, the other can't play for more than 5 minutes. So explain that shit Bungie. Oh that's right, you won't, because Bungie doesn't give a crap about its players

              • Loosing iron banner because i cant play.... this support sux, they only put % about numbers of bee lion etc... i dont need %, i want play... i serious sh would change the number of players from 12 to 6 or 8 till netcode being fixed... even a kid would understand that 80% of problems come from 6vs6 game

              • same here has you guys, i really hoped that this patch would finally relief me from this bee errors, but like you i had no luck. i can play with no problems 3vs3 and free for all but 6vs6 (no matter if it's the crucible or the iron thing) wont stand for more than 5 minutes or kick me at 10 seconds from the end of the game. it's really frustrating cause i can't play the game at his full and now i can't even take part at the new iron tournament cause it's only 6vs6... for reeko: it's not a bandwith problem, i have a not so good bandwith but it worked fine with all the games so far (without even portforwarding) and now with all the ports forwarded i can't play this game where some of my friends with worse bandwith than mine can play just fine without this "swarm of bees" i hope bungie take this problem seriously and resolve it fast cause i'm really getting tired of this.

                      Same problem I'm so close to selling this game... I love this game I spend a lot of time on it but I might havta let go. The bee just will not let me play for more then 5 minutes.... Bungie stop patching things please
