[i]These manly concern character creation, which I believe is very important in a game like Destiny:[/i] - Faces do not look good in the tower compared to the character creation screen before the game starts. They are almost unrecognisable. I have restarted the tutorial mission many times because I do not like the way my character looks once I reach the tower. The inability to skip cut-scenes worsens this experience. - Male faces are not good or especially varied compared to various female character models - No ability to choose a voice type for my character (i.e. there were not two or three selections per race). - Preset character voices do not match the look of the character models. Characters sound like they are 30-40 years old when most people playing the game are in the teens or twenties. [b]It doesn't feel like the avatar is representative of yourself and your own personality.[/b] - Male human voice is very 'American-White male' sounding and does not suit Black or Asian face types I chose for my characters. - No youthful female human voice, aside from Awoken. - No ability to customise the character's face or hair during the game is a disappointment. You only have one chance at the start and have to get it right. - No ability to remove helmet in character screen to see your character in the menu - Dancing is tied to race. I would have preferred if I could choose my dance style. - No variety of poses for character screen (despite different genders and classes having their own poses). - No ability to adjust body type for characters. Male characters' bodies are overly 'butch' while female characters are very lithe. [i]None of these are deal breakers but I have attempted to start many new characters which just tells me I'm not connected to the characters I made at the start.[/i]
