My ghost hovered off in the distance, scanning something I probably had no interest in. "What are you scanning, get over here." "I found something, but my database has no information surrounding the item. I only know - " I cut him off, something was happening, "That doesn't matter right now, get back inside my head. I think we have a situation". The tiny miracle of a machine skipped a beat and then raced right back to me. His physical body evaporated as his voice filled my mind, "What's happening?". Right; I had forgotten that his contextual audio sensors had been practically annihilated in a recent encounter. The fallen may not have good aim, but they definitely can get lucky. "I don't know, but I've got a bad feeling and I think I heard something. What's our position?". "We are currently located... hold on." After a short pause he continued, "my access to information has been cut off, and my sensors are indicating movement to what a large percentage of my current calculations call East." A noise confirmed the accuracy of his calculations. I swung to my right and lifted my Shingen. My scope provided me with a healthy range while maintaining the accuracy of the firearm at it's max distance. "Those aren't fallen", Delphi whispered, almost as if to caution me into silence. I took two steps back and rolled behind a nearby rock. He was right, and I could even check the Cabal and Vex off the list, this was something totally different...
