Grouping up is a strange thing in Destiny. It's great when you have friends online, or when playing a Strike mission. But what about joining up with people for the weekly, or the daily, or even the Queen's Wrath mission when no one in your friends list is around?
I've found myself just wishing there was a simple button press at the tower that would flag my character as "Looking For Group." As it is right now, I'm left awkwardly spamming random people if they want to group up. Being able to have an icon ala' Sims style pop over my head, my name added to a list, something that would allow people to know I'm free to group up with them, would be REALLY appreciated.

Your post is not new to the forums. The LFG conundrum in this game has been debated, discussed, beaten into the dirt. The Bungie fanboy answer is " use the forums, that's what the app is for ". Yup. Bungie has left the tools you need to play this game, out of the game. Don't ask me why. Some body in the development of this game. A Bungie employee. Made a mistake. A deliberate mistake? If Bungie reads these. I think someone does. They have passed this issue along. There is always the possibility that they were told not to pass it along. Play the game the way Bungie wants us to. They have said that in not so many words. Yup. Good luck, good hunting.

Just. Give. Us. Voice. Chat.

This is a really good idea

Just a lf... Anything... Weekly strike... Nightfall etc
-
They really just need what you are asking for. Red flag for Raid Purple flag for Nightfall Green flag for Strikes
-
This is a great idea. Why they left it out of the game baffles me.

The best solution is to use destinylfg.com unfortunately

I agree that grouping is messed up for this type of game. I ran into a person doing the same mission as me and when he invited me to his group it kicked me back to the beginning and restarted the mission. Plus I had to leave the game and go to the PS4 menu to even accept the invite! Does grouping up with people have to be this hard??? Even though I am in a Clan, I cannot see the people in my clan online or ask them to join me in game. For a social game I feel awful lonely.

I couldn't agree more with this! This seems like the quickest implementation available to solve our grouping woes.
