Experimenting with the CENTIPEDE error.
[b][u]I reopened an old gamertag (yes, I spent 10 bucks) to make sure it wasn't my connection that was screwing up and I got mixed results. I was able to play through the intro, after I got my ship I was booted to the main screen with the CENTIPEDE error. However, I was able to log back in and get to the tower just fine..... I haven't even been able to see my character on my other gamertag since 9/25. Anyways, after logging on I was able to enjoy the tower and start my first mission on earth.... I'll be back with more updates [/u][/b]
[i]If this continues to work I am going to start a petition thread for a free month of xbox live, or playsation equivalent... THEY should have thought of this. I'm so angry with their lack of compassion for customer service!!![/i]

1 ReplyHi Blake! Reopening or purchasing an old or new GamerTag is not a solution we recommend. Bungie is working hard to provide a fix for players seeing this CENTIPEDE issue. You can stay up to date on our progress here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11875

Booted to main menu in the middle if first moon mission w/ caterpillar error. Able to log back in.

Finished all of earth, including the strike. Starting moon at lvl 9 with relatively smooth gameplay.

Installed what seemed to be a patch, then was able to log back in. Upon login received a blue weapon engram.... Not sure if it was from the previous mission or not.... [i]engram wasn't in my inventory when loading into the tower[/i]

Booted off with CATERPILLAR error code while in the tower, successfully able to log back on.

Kicked out in the middle of mission 3 with a CENTIPEDE error, able to log back in and play.
