Un-Official Community Wish List

This an unofficial wishlist that was made way back in October so things on this list may have already been addressed, enjoy. I will clarify now, this is not a set of priority things that the community wants, this is a list in no specific order of what the community would like to see. Some of these ideas would not be able to make it into the game as of now and are more things for the Dev team to look at Destiny 2 to implement. [b][u]Interface:[/u][/b] [b]Radar:[/b] -Larger, less transparent, more responsive. [b]World Map:[/b] -Displayed when ghost is out -GPS towers to reveal map, can be attacked by enemies (events to defend/reclaim) -PvP: location of allies and objectives [b]Friend Locator[/b] -Displays list of friends on the right of the screen when the planet is selected (could also be a hover over function) [b]HUD[/b] -Customisable HUD (move HUD elements) -option for permanent health display -different HUD designs (current one seems too bland/basic) [b][u]Gameplay:[/u] [/b] [b]Armour Vendor:[/b] -Sells armor [b]Planetary Outposts:[/b] - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/128964822/0/0 [b]Clan Support:[/b] -Custom clan logos -Displayable on class items as a type of “shader”. Would appear as follows: Hunter – Mantle Titan – Titan Mark Warlock – Robes (obvious reason due to armband) -In-game Clan management (invite to clan/ accept clan invite, promote/demote members, kick members) -Create clan fireteam and label it for the type of events it will be participating in (story missions, weekly strikes, raids, etc) [b]Mission/event Variety:[/b] -Escort, extraction, infiltration, Recover lost/stolen antiques of the Golden Age, -Those buttons you know shouldn't be pressed but you just can't help yourself (we all know where this goes. Survival/horde mode) [b]Massive Global Events:[/b] -E.G. Defend the walls of The City from the Fallen and Hive [b]Buying/Selling Equipment:[/b] -Buy/sell guns and armor to the weapon smith and armor vendor (limit to the number of items of each rarity can be sold/bought each day) -Vendor displays sold items as stock that is purchasable by other players - Shows stock tiered to your level [b]Weapon/Armour Crafting:[/b] -craft insignias that have pre made stats -Higher crafting level the better gear you can craft (no higher than legendary. Crafting grants player exp. Still need to gather crafting materials) -Can customise the look of items being crafted to make them look unique [b]Open World:[/b] -The worlds seem bigger than they actually are. Opening up more areas/buildings make the game seem larger and appeals to people that love to explore everything in sight -Add visible "boundaries" to the world such as Cabal cannons on Mars or Vex lasers on Venus -Last City exploration [b]Crucible:[/b] - Theater mode - Custom games (non-ranked: Level Restriction off/on) - A Forge style mode(?) can create own maps, just select a planet u want to make it on, have a set of pre made landscapes per planet as well as some premade structures alone with other map making materials. -Change of scoring system: Clash - scores of kills; not the points earned for kills Rumble - same as above Control - no change -Longer Special ammo time -Improved spawn system (countdown seems to freeze on 10 and can't auto respawn right away) -No vehicles (maps don't seem big enough to need them) If vehicles stay, up the health but down the damage -Vote for map system -System to deal with quitters/afkers (3-5 games out out of last 10, no loot reward for next 5 games) [b]LFG:[/b] -Bulletin board with list of people looking for strike/raid groups (located at the Tower/Planet spawn) [b]Bounties: [/b] - tiered bounties > higher tier, better rewards - Weekly/monthly bounties [b]Fireteam Size:[/b] -increase to at least 1-4 players per fire team if not 1-6 players. It’s the only way people can get experience with a group for raids [b]Item Preview:[/b] -zoom in/ out and rotate to see how the whole thing looks [b]Cut scenes:[/b] -skip already seen cut scenes -vote to skip if in a fireteam [b]Daily Nightfall Missions[/b] -Harder then Heroic, easier then Weekly Nightfall -Better loot then Heroic, worse then Weekly Nightfall [b]Weakspots[/b] -potential weakspot on the back of Minotaurs [b]Exotic Bounties[/b] -Exotic Bounties for armour [b]Weapon-smith[/b] -re-roll perks on legendary weapons [b][u]Mechanics:[/u][/b] [b]Loot:[/b] (PvE Only) -drops based on rank/tier of enemy as follows (doesn’t need changes to mob spawns) common/uncommon – standard mobs uncommon/rare – Yellow Health mobs (let’s call them this) rare/legendary/exotic – world/strike/raid bosses [b]Upgrade Material:[/b] -Make materials a random drop from mobs [b]AI:[/b] -Reactions: e.g. kill a captain and lower tier enemies nearby become disoriented or overly aggressive. Regains control/ normal functions over time -Patrols: have squads that roam around the map (potential patrol missions/bounties) -Teamwork: e.g. a group of Cabal Phalanxes will form a wall together and march towards you [b]Boss Attack Variety:[/b] -Attack pattern changes when health drops below a certain point [b]Hit Boxes:[/b] -Cabal hit boxes seem to be out of place (especially the head) -Cabal Phalanx shield hit box seems to be larger than it should be [b]Volume Controls:[/b] -Individual controls for voice, ambient sound, music [b]Fireteams:[/b] -Stay on planet when leaving a fireteam -spawn with the fireteam we join, not at the beginning of the map -Ability to "jump" to people in your fireteam if they are separated (PvE only; Restricted to Patrols) -Fireteam size increase for Patrol, Mission, Strikes (social game, make it social) [b]Ammo Synthesizers:[/b] -Macro to d-pad for quick manual use [b]Nightfall/Raid Matchmaking:[/b] -forced voice-chat for raids [b]Spawn Selector[/b] -Allows the player to select the location they spawn on the planet [b]Trade System[/b] -limited to trading with friends and clansmen -cannot trade time specific event items -restricted to same tier trading (rare for rare, legendary for legendary, etc) -can't trade exotics -only armor can be traded for armor and weapons for weapons -Trading removes any upgrades the item had [b]Time Reduction[/b] -Reduction to the time needed for button press to return to orbit/ spawn sparrow [b]Third Person[/b] -Optional toggle for Third Person in PvE (some people prefer to play in third person over first) [b]Matchmaking[/b] -PvP: add matchmaking based on player skill -PvE: current system is fine [b]Controller Remapping[/b] -Customization button layouts [b]D-Pad Macros[/b] -Weapon cycling -subclasses cycling -Ammo synthesizers [b]Class Items[/b] -Class Items give stats (e.g. Armor, Recovery, Agility, Strength, Discipline or Intelligence) [b]Hold Y/ Triangle Timer[/b] -Reduce the time needed when holding down Y/Triangle to return to orbit/leave matchmaking [b]Enemy Damage Scaling[/b] -low level enemies do reduced damage to higher level guardians (as it should be really) [b]Ascendant Conversion[/b] -Convert shards for energies and vice versa [b]Factions[/b] -Accept both Crucible and Vanguard Marks -Ability to purchase faction shaders and ships after increments of 5 ranks (5, 10, 15, 20, and the ship at 25). -Faction reward packages have an increased chance of faction gear, rather than just ascendant materials. -Enlist in a faction: reputation gains go to your faction without wearing the class item (more aesthetic freedom) [b][u]The Little Things:[/u][/b] [b]In-game Grimiore:[/b] -^^^ [b]The Tower:[/b] -make it livelier (more NPC's that interact with each other) -clan areas (registration/management) -A place to see grimiore -Home or Clan instance (a place to view you armour/weapons/grimiore or your clans exploits in battle) -Firing range for testing/comparing new/old weapons [b]Shaders:[/b] -Add more / allow player created shaders -Applicable at any level -Applicable to weapons and ships [b]Ships:[/b] -Rather than have blueprints for ships, blueprints for custom ship parts (iow: ship customisation) [b]New Weapons:[/b] -Mag fed pistol: large mag, high rate of fire, low impact, and low to medium alpha damage (opposite to the Had Cannon) -Actual SMGs: Medium mag size, high rate of fire, low impact, effective at close range, fast reload -Swords/melee weapons as special weapons. You have the concept, utilise it more (would have a different attack system to stop people perma dashing) -Captured Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal weapons [b]Vendor Specials:[/b] -Vendors have a special each day that is an item that is your level, at level 20 it does not go lower then rare, has a low chance to be legendary. No exotics [b]Interplanetary Travel:[/b] -Travel from planet to planet without needing to go to orbit first (still has the space travel animation for loading) [b]Random Weather Generator:[/b] -snow on Earth, meteor shower on Moon, acid rain on Venus, sand storm on Mars, etc [b]Helmet Toggle:[/b] -Toggle helmet on/off (I made a character and I want others to see it when I kill them) [b]Wildlife[/b] -spawns and lives in caves -some hostile [b]Late Game Character Customization[/b] -change character looks after the game has begun -More Character customization [b]Character Cap[/b] -Raise cap (people who already have 3 characters can't let others make a new character to play themselves without wiping one of their own) [b]Purchase of Strange Coins/Motes of Light[/b] -Coins = 35 Vanguard Marks (4 per week) -Motes = 25 Vanguard Marks (6 per week) [b]Legendary Planet Unique Armor/Weapon[/b] (can be found after lvl 18) -Unique armor/weapons = design/function based off planets enemy inhabitants -Acquired via Secret/Hidden missions, very rare drop from planet Strikes (not Exotic rare, around rarity of Legendary)
