Or after bouncing around leaping from tall buildings and doing jumps over sand-dunes, you find a gentle incline to walk down on Venus, which murders you. Because apparently the terraforming failed in that very specific area. Also, four seconds to turn around and not die once your suit detects 'leaving the corridor' radiation zones.
-blam!- invisible walls and ceilings, -blam!- the four-second timer, and -blam!- whoever stood up at E3 and showed us all this amazing shit and said we could go there. -blam!- them all.

There's a chest on Venus that spawns so far out of bounds, it's practically impossible to get to it. And there's no chance of getting back before the 4 seconds are up. '-' annoying is an understatement.

Like you, I get annoyed when I see the messages "killed by the architects" and "misadventure". Giving you 5 seconds to turn around or attempt to recover is just plain silly 'cos most times you are falling into an abyss that you can't get out of. I've lost count of the number of times I have driven my Sparrow over a cliff.
