I've tried getting the URL to load periodically since it was announced a few hours ago, but only get a blank, black screen. Tried on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on two different Macs in our house (one running the latest version of Mavericks and Chrome); Chrome on my PC running Windows 8.1; iOS 7 Chrome and Safari running on both my iPad and iPhone. The only one that gives me anything besides a black screen is the iPad, which tells me Safari is incompatible and I need to download Chrome…well, I already had Chrome installed and even ran an update that came out today and it still doesn't load.
Seeing several people on Twitter having no issues leads me to believe this is something beyond just heavy traffic, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what. I'm not mad or anything, but it's really confusing and I'm wondering what's up. Any ideas why it doesn't work for me?

I just tried Planet View for the first time today, using Mac Safari, and it didn't work. All I got was either a black screen or the Venus loading screen, but the loading circle would just keep going round and round as if it was loading data then dumping the data and trying again. Chrome on my Mac works fine with Planet View, though. I have it on Venus and am listening to the ambient music as I type this :)

doesn't work for me either; I do get to the point where it shows all the planets, but as soon as i try to explore one, it'll 'zoom down to the surface' but then kicks me back out to space

Edited by RECEPTOR 17: 9/2/2014 10:05:58 PMLikewise on my end. Works on my Samsung SIII Mini, but Chrome on my laptop (which is a Windows 7) just puts me into the background image with the music playing and that is it.

Having that problem too! They shouldn't announce it everywhere yet if it don't even work!
