50 year old Kid!!!
how many out there are my age and addicted to this stuff, man, i have been waiting 3 years for this stuff, been on xbox for ten years with kids, now on my own and changing lanes, anyone else?

hitting 30 in december and i love gaming always have and to say im addicited is an understatement. i dont see myself ever hanging up the controller , i love grinding away with my fireteam joking around with other gamers of all ages. the young buks do hate me when i play some 80's classics through the headset while griding away at the vault, but there is nothing more inspirational than some survivor eye of the tiger during the final stages of atheon.

80, my poor wife thinks I'm going to have a heart attack with the rage fits I throw every now and then...but still enjoy gaming just as much as I ever have.

36 soon to be 37. I will be gaming a long time. Its also helpful to have peers in age as clanmates who i run with daily. The conversations are much different than with us than 14yr olds. Although its amusing sometimes listening to the young bucks

6 RepliesI will be 60 in Dec. and I hope I can always play video games. Thank God I have a great wife who loves watching me play. I didn't think that there were many people my age that play boy was I wrong. I don't play to much online but playing the beta I think I will enjoy the online experience. I see a lot of nice gamers my age on this forum. So I can't wait to play and run into some great people online.

I'll be 37 in December, got a wife, house, man cave, 18 year old step daughter and a 2 year old. I dont care what the young kids say, this is the life right here. I would give up all my tween years and my twenties for this in a heartbeat.

42 for a couple of weeks now and I'll never grow up. I have a 22 year old son who attends several midnight launches a year with me. Has become a family tradition we intend on continuing until I'm too old to see or hold a gamer controller anymore.

One more thing (for the younger crowd) the older generation has made what this gaming industry is today. So dont be such an a-hole just because older guys enjoy gaming. One day youll be here to. I have alot of health issues (to much BMX,Sk8ing,partying) and if it wasnt for the gaming industry i would certainly feel 100 times worse.

49, turn 50 after the new year. Started playing when my dad came home with the Magnavox Odyssey, Pong. Then Atari 2600, Nintendo, Sega. Stopped playing. Real life stuff. Started when I saw a friend had a PS1. I have had a PS in my life since then. I'm on a PS4, east coast USA. I play in the evenings, and on weekends when I can. PSN ID is my name. This is what arcade games were like when I started playing. We didn't have video screens, hence they were not video games, but arcade games. I'll bet a few of you fellow gamers remember these machines. And they had that distinctive wooden cabinet / electronic parts smell. It was a special time that today's youngsters missed out on. We really did get to experience the evolution from the ground up. As video games go, here is a nice rundown on the console history. I still have a Bally Professional Arcade.
