Having clan specific towers is something I am interested in. The expansion of clans from 75 to 100 likely further buried this idea though. I don't see it ever happening.

Yeah 100 people clan. If you play with 2 of those people doing story missions or strike missions... even exploring.... Lets say you play 1 day with 2 of those people, and you play every day. Without repeating anyone and not playing with the same person it would take you 50 days to play with everyone in your clan. Even if you are a PvP only clan it would take you 17 days to play with everyone in your clan... if you play every day... and not repeat a member. So yeah... Bungie wants to encourage "big communities" and whatnot but they should encourage that in game not in the forums.

Agree. 75 is already plenty when you can't play with more than 6 at a time. This is exactly why my clan stopped when we hit 75 instead of adding sub-clans to get as big as possible like some did.

Again, I'm not asking for an X amount of people, in fact 16 seems like a good number for the tower and exploring the world free roaming but the problem is Bungie is not letting me gather 16 of my friends to hang out which kills the sense of social aspect of this game ... when I see other people already in game something tells me it is entirely possible to have more people there or even then, Bungie already said that places like the tower allow more than 16 player but they decided 16 was a number they liked and thought it wouldn't feel too crowded, fine I respect that, but don't limit the amount of people I can invite.
