Fan fiction

To begin this isnt something I normally do, I haven't written like this since I was very young and in no way am I very good at grammer or punctuation. With all games like Destiny, I always have created a form of personal back story for my characters and for once I decided I wanted to start writting something down. This is just a small piece I thought was a good kind of teaser/opener. I left a lot of things out like a name and dialogue on purpose, I know people arnt gonna like that. But please give me feedback on how you like it or hate it, what I can do to improve my writing skills, and if enough people like it I'll keep it going. I have more written and would like to continue to write and hopefully improve my writting in general amd start a new hobby, even with the help of the community. And finally this is just a work in progress and only have a tablet to type it on. But I was getting too anxious wanted to share it and get some feedback. Enjoy or hate it, just like and leave some comments please! _________________________________________________________________________ "Alone" The sound of thunder cracked the sky as hard as a whip! In a blink of an eye the Earth lit up like a mid summers day. The pitter patter of rain hitting metal quickly turned into constant pounding. He threw up his hood in attempt to drown out the abuse. His head still rung. His chest ached with every step and breath. If it weren't for the support of his rifle, his legs would fail to support himself. Yet he must go on. He knows he can not stop till some form of shelter is found. Its very likely they will still be looking for him. His head still spinning, shatered visor and thick of the forest combined with no moon, left him blind. With the help of the storm however, in that second of daylight, the lightning revealed a flash of hope. An uprooted tree. A very large, uprooted tree, surrounded by thick foliage enough to hide behind. With closer inspection revealed a shallow ditch under protection of the roots and bushes. Just enough to keep him dry from the rain. He wrapped his cloke around his body and sunk into the hole with his back to the tree. Slumped over to relieve pressure from his legs and back, but not vertical enough to be laying. He held his rifle flat to his chest, and he waited. His body is weak and broken, too tired to carry on anymore. Yet there will be no sleep for this Gaurdian tonight!
