This Video is true I remember when I played the original Halo and killed all the enemies just to enjoy the atmosphere. And say wow if this is gaming I want more, then it built more and more as I loved Bungies banner.for halo and enjoyed every step of the way. as much as I enjoyed Halo 4 343 kinda killed the experance there is always things that should be simplistic, not just staring you in the face. they kinda killed the shock in awe with to much story telling.

Hard to get invested if the story isn't substantial enough though. And it seemed bey bare bones in the beta. Missions weren't really interesting at all except for "the last array"

This guy's on point. Its another reason why gaming has quickly become one of the most favorable ways to tell a story yet as well. Better than a movie sometimes Better than an animated series sometimes Better than tv shows sometimes Etc. Sometimes even actors get involved in the gaming industry, lending their voice or even allowing full scale character models In their image to lay their voice over. All of that's art, within it, a story is told, a media expresses and articulates the art, and we contribute to the art on a daily basis. Video gaming is the story telling of the future. Books may never be replaced, they will always hold a special value...It all starts there, but within a video game lies many folds of art from a full spectrum of media types that will blend together inside of a game engine. From written and spoken art to drawn art meshed in an interactive story. It peaks our interest to dig deeper, and become apart of the canvas. It deffinitely does make the difference of a piece of art being popular for a year or so...or becoming timeless.

A lot of people say " oh I just didn't get Halo" or " the original trilogies story's were hard to follow". To that I say good. That's exactly how it was supposed to be. Whether that intrigues someone to dig into the lore and read between the lines is up to the individual. Some of the greatest stories ever told were ones not fully explained. If I could I would leave 50 likes lol. I subscribed to the channel after the first tricorn video.

thats also what I thought when people said " the story is boring". its not only that the beta nly offered a small part, the story is not supposed to throw information in your face so you can understand it and be done after a few hours. you have to learn whats going on, pick the pieces of the puzzle and create something that may be your own storyline. many people are coming from FPS games and only played multiplayer before, I think those are the people who dont understand it

That, i think has potential to be the gamers anthem, what a wonderful homage to the brave pioneers of this relativly new art form. Thank you killworthy for that eye-oping examination of passion art and video games. Sorry for gushing had to be said.
