The ones who got exotic received it in the Iron Banner from what I have seen. With that being said, I did pick up a blue rare as a loot drop. I also bought a blue rare emblem cuz I had so much glimmer and it wasn't going to count anyways.

Every time you level your cryptarch you get a coded engram in the mail. To my knowledge, this is how every exotic in the beta was received.

When I leveled mine I got a green uncommon.

I got a legendary zombie apocalypse machine gun from Cryptarch as the level 3 gift.

Too bad we don't get to keep or characters from the beta.

I'm okay with it. As cool as some of the shit was I got in the beta, I'm pumped to start fresh on September 9th because the final tweaked weapons will be a better build.
