Yeah I personally don't think our destiny guardian will carry over because just like the beta there going to add more customization in sequels so I wouldn't be to excited because that's how I wanted it to go but the beta disproved me

it'll be like mass effect. Your character will be able to stay with you throughout the games and content.

But the Beta wasn't a full game, it wasn't complete so there was never going to be anything Bungie could've done for the characters with so many changes being implemented into the final version, whereas this would be a full game going into the sequel. They might give you a new character to create but the levels and unlocks in the classes are the same or the other way around and you keep the character (maybe even his level) but none of the skills you unlocked due to having all new subclasses being brought in during the second game. This is just my theory so welcome to any disagreements or corrections welcome:)
