Ran into a problem- X360/storage?

Ran into a problem- should I preorder Destiny? Because I don't know if I have enough hard drive space for the install(assuming there's a content install required along with playing on the disc). I only have like 13 gigs if I delete everything on my hard drive. Will there be a big installation for 360?? And will it be bigger than my 16gig USB? Is external storage such as USBs and external drives even supported for the full game? Because in the Destiny description on gamestop.com it says "hard drive required." HELP! Sorry for a lot of questions, but I don't want to end up preordering Destiny and finding out that I can't play it!

  • USB flash drives and external hard drives were not supported in the Beta, so I doubt they will be supported for retail. That's just speculation though. My theory is that the USB read speeds are too slow for the user to have a smooth experience while playing the game. Again, just my personal thoughts. :) If you're playing a disc, the extra install should be somewhat minimal, especially for last gen platforms. Just make sure you have an internal drive at launch to be safe!

It is recommended that you have at least 20 GB of storage available, however we are not sure exactly how much space the download will take up. Bungie stated on a FAQ page that certain consoles are not able to download the Destiny Beta, including: Xbox 360 Arcade Console Xbox 360 4 GB Console Xbox 360 Core System Playstation 3 12GB System It is unknown whether the same rule applies for the full game. EDIT: No, USB drives are not supported.
