I've been an Original Gamer since 1979 when Space Invaders was an actual coin-op and not an add-on to a Greatest Hits collection. My first console was an Atari 2600 and the controller consisted of a joystick and ONE fire button. The graphics were nothing more than geometric shapes and if you wanted to save your game you were S-O-L. Then came the 8-bit Nintendo with Duck Hunt and Ninja Gaiden. Worked at Electronics Boutique selling Dreamcast, N64, and the first PlayStation. Switched over to Gamestop selling both the first Xbox and PS2. Did a stint as a quality-control tester for VIrtual World in their BattleTech/MechWarrior full-sized cockpit simulators (being sent overseas to the Austrailan market). Enjoyed the COD:MW series and BF4 (when it worked) on PS3. Now I'm rocking out on the XB1 with Titanfall and was lucky enough to be a Destiny Beta tester with 4.6 million other lucky gamers. I never understood the allure of playing online with other people 'til I answered a recruiting announcement from the DOB. I got tired of being the lone-wolf roaming the virtual war-zones and wanted more from the multi-player experience. I didn't know what to expect at first but I'm glad I joined the DOB. This is NOT just another clan but a community of people who share your passion for gaming. We care less about your K/D ratio but if you're a team-player and PTFO then you're our kind of Bastard.
