Here's my problem with no mm. I will not have enough people to make a six man team on my schedule. I'm in a clan but our time zones are too close for me. I work 72 hrs a week and can only clear time for a raid at 1am til 5 am on Sunday night Monday morning. So I don't get to enjoy an aspect of the game because I have a family to support. That's bs, I paid for the whole game not part. Mm or solo or party shouldn't matter. Just let me play.

  • Nobody's stopping you from playing. Do you cry every time a game comes out that has restricted access to a certain PvP that only the best players can participate in? Oh but you paid for it! You should be able to play it too! No. That's where you're wrong. You have the game, and Bungie has said on multiple occasions that Raids are only for the most dedicated and most "hardcore" of players. You have a family to support. That's WAY more important than getting to play in raids. If you don't have the time to put in to raids, you simply can't raid. That's it. The very nature of raids demands an extreme time commitment, and if you can't put in the effort to put together a team beforehand, then by the nature of raids, they require more effort than you're willing to give. If they nerf the raids to cater to you, they will no longer be raids, and everyone will be running around with the special gear that Bungie wants only the most dedicated players to achieve. This "gimme" attitude has got to -blam!-ing stop in video games. Just because your own problems interfere with some part of the game doesn't mean that Bungie has to cater to you because "you paid for it and you should have everything you want." The whole point of raids in Destiny is to give players who try hard enough something to be proud of for conquering it. If they start catering to people who don't have the time to put in to full raids, they will then have to nerf raids to satisfy you, and then everyone is going to end up with the gear that's supposed to be rare and difficult to get. "I work 72 hours a week" well if you want to raid, get a job that doesn't demand 72 hours a week (if raids are this much of a priority to you, and you have a family, I feel very, very sorry for your family.)

  • Ok again I'm not asking for it to be nerfed. I just love how everytime someone says they want to be able to play ENDGAME material people like you jump all over because they might get it done without the need for a special team. I'm sorry that you don't seem to understand my point. I want the chance to finish the game. I could care less about PVP but if it is core to the actual story then yes I want the chance to play with my time commitments. It's not as easy to find people during that time period as you seem to think. Unless you are volunteering I don't see how making more " hardcore" than you statements help. My job requires that time commitment and I don't mind because they pay me six figures to do it. My family is more important than a game. I just wanted the ability to complete the game not be locked out of Endgame material.

  • Except raids are not core to the actual story. You're not understanding what "end game content" means. End Game content is content that allows you to take on new challenges after essentially "completing" the game. You won't miss out on crucial story elements by not getting to play raids. You're still going to get the gist of the game, but you won't be able to get some of the gear from raids. Destiny won't be like "What happens to the bad guy at the end? You can only find out if you complete this raid!" That's not how it works. You're going to experience the core story in its entirety. Raids are just extremely difficult side missions that give you access to cool gear. Again, just because YOUR OWN, PERSONAL PROBLEMS prevent you from completing raids does NOT mean Bungie should cater to you and let you have whatever the -blam!- you want. And yes, because you are asking for matchmaking, as my original post says, you are also asking for it to be nerfed. The whole point of raids, especially in destiny, is for them to be too difficult for a random group that has had no previous planning to complete. Therefore, lots of people will go in to matchmaking and then complain because none of them can beat the raid. Bungie will then nerf raids to make their "community" happy, thus destroying the entire point of raids. I'm playing this game too. It's not just yours, you don't get to dictate what happens to it. The majority of the fanbase here, so far as I've seen, understands that matchmaking for raids is dangerous and more often than not, leads to nerfing. Just because you don't have time doesn't mean that Bungie has to change the game for you.

  • PS: if it's prohibitive time of day for your time zone remember that you can find player in different time zones so your required time is more accessible

  • Find ppl that can play when you can. It's 10 years that ppl do this to be part of raids. Or you think are the only one of the millions of players that have that free time to raid?

  • Are you volunteering because if you read my whole post you would have seen the problem. I am in a clan but between platform differences and them mostly being either same time zone or eastern time zone I going to find it very difficult to find six players. Even if they lowered the requirement to three I would have an easier time.

  • Solution: Find a new clan. "But I don't want a new clan!" That's your fault, not Bungie's.

  • Not only your clan is searching for ppl, not everyone has a clan already and not all members of static need to be of the same clan. You can search for a fill in if you have already someone
