I mean they have a standing army more than a million strong. Each member of that army can wade into battle outnumbered 100:1 and still win. Not only that but they are IMMORTAL. Killing a guardian only pisses them off.
No worries your city is protected by millions of immortal juggernauts. With magical powers to boot.

Well, if my millions of soldiers spent half their time dancing and pointing at people, I'd be scared too!
-
Immortal doesn't mean invulnerable.
-
"Killing a guardian only pisses them off. " That made me laugh :D

Edited by KingGreenTAkeem: 8/23/2014 2:36:02 PMDragons. …: http://youtu.be/2mM3_p6jwXc They have Dragons. Also who's immortal? That was a VERY dead guardian on the moon! Plenty to worry about!
-
the only problem is wave after wave of zombies from space, only if there was a weapon that could destroy them like a giant ring... now i think about it that seems like a good game
-
Never assume you know your enemy 100%
-
In story there's very few guardians
-
After the moon mission I am not so certain...
-
Last safe city, whatever. In old soviet Russia, YOU protect TRAVELLER.
-
It's quite simply a matter of math: Guardians: Over a million Enemies: Infinity We can have 3 guardians for everyone on Earth abd the power to take on 1000000000000000000 each. They swarm us with infinity foes it's over anyway.
-
We don't know what in store for us.
-
We don't know a shit about the Darkness... It should be a very scary foe. Skellington scary...
-
You know how you go into an area and it says "RESPAWNING DISABLED" and if you die in there, it says "YOU WERE CONSUMED BY THE DARKNESS"? That's when a Guardian dies for good. Fortunately, Bungie is forgiving, and doesn't make the game wipe your character and force you to admit defeat when that happens.
-
Maybe since our character just became a guardian they might think that you might end up like some of those noob guardians in some of the missions and die from level 2 fallen.
and on the moon that one guy just taking a nap on the moon in front of a hive fortress.
-
^ That's the last city. They ain't even mad.

Edited by A Wa1nut259: 8/18/2014 10:33:01 PMThe problem with the guardians is that the major target would be the ghosts. You down a ghost and that guardian isn't going to get up again.

Edited by Captain Kwando: 9/3/2014 1:11:25 AMSpoiler alert! We're the bad guys!!
-
If something deadbeats the traveler all the special powers are gone
-
like in MMORPGs where YOU have to kill lvl 2 Wild Boars to protect the village while the Guards at the gate are invincible ;D
-
BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.) The Darkness. ENDING TRANSMISSION:
-
What if the only reason us gaurdians come back to life after we die is because the Traveler uses its magic to do so? If that was the case: No Traveler = No immortality.
-
Plus, there's the wall surrounding the city and. And if I'm not mistaken, there's even like a force-field sort of thing that the Traveller created around it, so extra protection...
-
Edited by MRFUEGO941: 8/29/2014 9:30:03 PMA guardian can die without its ghost in hand I think, so if you lose your ghost in battle by say um a big ass cabal slapping you than you would be dead.
-
Well, First off...mankind only survived because of the Traveler...not the Guardians. And with it our of Commission for the time being...Guardians are only actually putting up a small fight. Lore wise.
-
your only immortal until you enter an area surrounded by darkness like in the story mission...thats why it responds you from your last checkpoint and not by ur ghost. Also the last safe city is worried because the traveler is dieing(thus the reason ghost were made) and the darkness is about to launch another strike... just saying lol
