What's the point of a K/D ratio with no quit percentage tracker?
Billy 10.00 K/D ratio could be a compulsive rage quitter who backs out every time he is not on a perfect game to protect his stats.

True, as could Billy 10.00 GSR or S/D ratio. The point is not to make the system flawless, but to make it better than it is. This way, at least Billy 10.00 S/D would have a reason to capture B.

I agree with everything you've said, and I like that instead of just spouting an opinion you did something crazy, you know math. Frankly I find the K/D system to be highly flawed. In many games like BF4 for example I usually get a positive K/D but I couldn't care less, my goal is to help advance the team, always at the expense of my K/D. If it weren't for a friend of mine who's always a medic my K/D would be garbage. My S/D however is another matter all together as I'm a very support role kinda guy. I'm always going for objectives and usually die as a result, and usually end up lower of the score board for games that only monitor K/D. In BF, I usually end up in the top three because the positions are cumulative point based. So even if I go 2/12 K/D, but captured more than half the objectives or supported my team, my skill is still fairly appraised and shown. The short and sweet version is, I like your idea and think its a more fair portrayal of skill than just a kill to death system that is frequently implemented.
