I would like to have the option to have it on or not, even outside of the tower like in missions like a lot of MMO games seem to (while still granting the bonuses). Although at the end of the day though it doesn't irritate me too much. It would make it far easier to distinguish certain people when similar gear/class setups are all used in a crowd. I can see it being annoying later on for clans or parties not being able to distinguish each other at a quick glance without reading the name tag.

It's sounds like a good idea, until somebody other than an exo isn't wearing a helmet on the moon.

That was my conclusion. It would be easy to stick a checkbox into the options menu.
