Whilst a sun singer and defender seem very useful for a raid the classes you choose shouldn't matter too much.
The whole point of destiny's classes is that there is no "tank" or "adc", the roles are versatile. The compliment your play style not dictate it.

In the vault of glass your class set up or build mean everything

except all we really know about the vault of glass, is a) its been said its going to piss you off cause its hard as -blam!-. b) its going to piss you off cause its hard as -blam!-. c) you wanna make sure you have awesome gear, because the vault of glass is gonna give you a rim job with a staff made of broken glass dipped in lemon juice, and d) everyone is vital regardless of what class you choose, because its gonna take teamwork, communication and strategy, and why is this? BECAUSE ITS HARD AS -blam!-! LAWL But i agree its going to piss everyone off except the ones dedicated to learn from their msitakes and want to tweak their builds to be able to survive!
