The Purple ball stands in the way of the Traveler's resurrection.
The purple ball must be destroyed. As long as it exist I can not rejoin the traveler and awaken it. The purple ball contains the heart of the darkness. After the last great battle with the darkness, both the purple ball was left incomplete. The darkness within the purple ball found a way to corrupt guardians and their light and uses this power to link itself with the rest of the darkness. I was thrown deep within the darkness. The purple ball's power keeps me from reconnecting with the traveler. Guardians, you must destroy the purple ball so that I may once again power the traveler and defend Earth and its people. To do this the soccer ball and purple ball must be fused together
