Do you think Bungie should have a branch that tries to take Halo back but not dedicate the whole company to it but I good pice of it and still make Destiny.

Leave it to 343 to finish the series. They did do a good job on halo4,even through it wasnt as good as halo reach or halo 3 .It was still great and bungie has there own game
-
Bungie is 100% focused on Destiny. They gave up Halo to be independent of Microsoft and to dedicate themselves to Destiny.
-
Nah, they did a great job on Halo and it's time to say our goodbyes to that series. Now its Destiny and thats going to be another big chapter for Bungie.
-
They've moved on from Halo and so have I. I racked lord knows how many hours playing all the Halo games. And I'm not even a "serious" game. Over and over I've run through the campaigns for all of the games. Even twice on Halo 4, one on heroic and once on legendary. And ask the hours upon hours spent in forge. All good times. But enough is enough. I think saturation is the applicable term. And I only play the game, imagine living it every day for 10 years. I'd want a change of scenery too.
-
Halo is slowly dying out, just let 343 be the ones to dig it's grave.
-
No. They had a good run and made some great games. It is time to branch out and make more great games. Besides, I think that 343 has done more damage than good to Halo. I wouldn't want to try and salvage it.
-
No I don't think they should even though they made much better halos than 343 but it's never going to happen because Microsoft is probably never going to give up halo and a lot of Xbox fans will get butt hurt because the Playstation has it too (I am also a huge Xbox fan) that's why I don't think they should
-
I liked halo 4, five looks amazing, and destiny would have to buy all of xbox for Microsoft to give halo up.
-
Playstation would just ruin the entire franchise.
-
Play station would just ruin the entire franchise.
-
That's like saying "Hey my kid is 35, and we decided we want him to move back in with us, because we miss him."

Bungie gave us (excuse the pun) a game changer with Halo CE, Halo 2 and 3 built on that. This created a very strong IP that has been passed onto 343i. I liked ODST and Reach (Reach is still one of my favourite games). 343i had a very tough job to breathe new life into an IP that had been concluded rather well. I think 343i did an outstanding job of doing this with Halo 4 and they should be proud of their work - as should Bungie, because in a very real sense what 343i do with the IP is part of Bungie's legacy. Bungie did the smart thing by becoming independent at the cost of an IP that they had concluded. The Destiny Beta feels like they have taken the skills, knowledge and experience built up through Halo and moved it up a gear or three. I honestly believe that Destiny is the next game changer (sorry again). I'll be getting it in a few short weeks for the Xbox 360 and for the Xbox One when I get that console for the Halo 5 release Q4 next year. But in answer to your question, no Bungie shouldn't even consider getting Halo back, they shouldn't live in the past. Trading on past success is generally not a good way to plan for the company's future. Destiny, however, will (I think) secure Bingie's future. Cheers, Gary

Move on...
-
I want halo to be something to remember, not a has been great like duke Nukem
-
No because 343 already screwed halo up so it would take a lot of work to make it good again. They would be better off maybe making a different game, prequel to destiny or making a sequel to it
-
No wasted time and resources claiming ground they've already trekked.
-
If Microsoft owns a game, there's no getting it back
-
That big check tho
-
Bungie will end up better off without it, 343 kinda messed up the storyline in my opinion
-
No. Never look back.
-
Because it's time for bungie to love on. This is their big chance
-
I believe Bungie has every right to move on and create what they want to create. If their story with halo is over, then so be it. I believe that they have the ability to take Destiny wherever they want to. And the ability to build any world they see fit.
-
It would take time from destiny and an eventual marathon reboot/sequel, so no. Bungie did good by Halo when they had it.
-
Bungie went out with a bang, with Halo: Reach, now it's time for 343 to take over the series and add a new perspective to it. It probably won't be as good as Bungie's stories, but nonetheless, it's time to move on. A new Destiny awaits Bungie.
-
Destiny is so much better
-
No. 1.) They never really "owned" Halo. 2.) 343 has... changed it.
