I love this idea, it would allow for more tactical movement of fireteams and can ease the issue with chats. Personally I don't like playing with a headset and simple gestures can go a long way!

Good luck on the tiny platform the controller has. If anything, that should require the attachable keyboard sold by Microsoft. Or, you know, a PC version of Destiny would be nice.

They could allow customization with the d-pad instead of the default wave, dance, sit. Seems like a good idea.

Such as they did in the Portal 2 multiplayer. I will admit, Bungie could learn a little something from Valve. Other way around too.
