Maybe that's what the grimoire is meant to be? Hopefully they'll either add those as drops or expand it a touch.
I think it would be cool. That, and finding some reading material out on the frontier would be awesome. Hell, notes from the hunters that have been out there, a journal from someone who was defending against the Darkness during the end of the Golden Age, notes from people within the city or some innocent notes left of some scrapped computer in one of those downed jets in Old Russia.

I think there is a lot in just the bit they give us, for example, some users have been digging into the Dead Ghost collectables that appeared in the beta. http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66907372/0/0 Some things are cryptic, and they add a lot. Kind of like how Assassins Creed II and Brotherhood began a conspiracy theory for its players. Destiny looks like it will be that way. But I do want to see more things within the game. But, I guess we have to wait. Urk has been saying that they want to support the full game, not just the competitive multiplayer (like Halo). Chances are, teasing the player with info will probably surface somewhere.

True. There is surely much more in the full game that what we saw in the beta. The prospects are exciting!
