Kill/Death apparently means something around here

EDIT: my point is being missed. I didn't ask if a high ratio makes me a good player, I asked why, when I give an opinion about the game, a typical answer is "your kd sucks stfu you're stupid and don't matter". Pretty sure Bungie would like opinions from everyone, not just good players. Then they know how to reach a wider market. Is that not logical? Mine sucks. Putting that out there to save everyone the time of looking up my profile, seeing it blows and posting it. That said, apparently a high kill/death ratio means your opinions are worth more than mine because "you suck, get good n00b lulz". So, someone explain to me when not being good at this game meant my opinion about the game doesn't matter. This should be good.

  • The K/D for me isn't thinking someone is good, it's just a standard that I put myself in personally. So when I have anything lower than a 2.0 K/D I do as much as I can to raise it up to my standard. But overall no, whatever your K/D is doesn't determine how skilled you are. Who knows, maybe you play a lot of objective games and your the guy who always has to take one for the team and roll the dice on dying to get the objective.
