I'll almost certainly cancel my pre-order for real, because while there are some very cool aspects to the game, there are too many aspects I don't like. For example, the Old Russia world is visually harsh, for lack of a better term. It's too bright and the colors seem a bit unnatural. My instincts tell me Bungie made it that way to make it look alien, and then I remind myself it's Earth. Whatever their motivation, the result is that I find it tiresome to look at it for long periods of time. Another example would be the Devil's Lair co-op match-made mission. I played it yesterday with a friend and a third person the game found and it took use an hour and 35 minutes to complete it. Seriously? I do not want match-made games that last an hour and a half and consist mostly of tedium as we fire a gazillon rounds into some giant tank thingy or some floating ball thingy trying to wear it down one bullet at a time.

  • I solod devils lair on the harder difficulty by myself in 54 minutes. You should whine on a COD forum since its obviously the tier of shooter you're used to.

  • I beat that strikw in less than 20minutes, unfortunately you do not know how to play this game. We have a fireteam, a fireteam atleast in my prior military experience is a efficient and coordinated group of soldiers with excellent skills in handing out, receiving and completing orders. The Devil Walker is a bullet sponge if you let it, the fireteam must agree to attack one specific spot at a time. My fireteam usually starts at his right front leg then the left and vice versa. His legs get destroyed very quickly when it is targeted with extreme prejudice. It should take no longer than 5 minutes for a good fireteam to take him out especially if everyone has full rocket launcher ammo. About the environment of Old Russia, I respectfully disagree but to each his own.
