I find myself sometimes not picking up weapons and armour that are dropped because i mistake them for ammo drops I do not currently need. Can you please make uncommon and higher drops more noticeable when I am running throughout the world of destiny.
Edit: I am not a huge fan of being mailed greens or higher as it ruins the excitement of getting a rare drop from a trash mob. Also I would like to pick up white items as they may be a higher level than my current gear and provide better stats.

Agreed. I'll have to do 2-3 sweeps of an area I just fought through to make sure I didn't miss anything. It can be kind of annoying. Just making them brighter or larger would be enough for me.

Edited by SerpentVI: 7/25/2014 6:52:23 AMI like scouring the aftermath for loot and such. I had no problems with the present schema. However if people want it so badly, Bungie should make all item drops flash loudly. So loudly it's as if one dropped acid.

I don't have a problem finding them
-
This! This so much! I can't count the number of times I've missed loot because they're so inconspicuous and hard to see.
-
Well, ammo is in small crates. Loot is in hexagon pattern balls which are a bit bigger. I don't get how you can miss it.
-
Yes, more noticeable would be nice. However, I found that they have a system where you can find items you forgot to pick up waiting for you at one of the tower's vendors.
-
I suggest you look harder then, I've never had that issue - heck uncommon engrams practically shout, visually, "I'm here, pick me up!"
-
Or like when something falls into a small puddle it just disappears from sight... Or you kill an enemy that drops loot from faraway then need to concentrate on other enemies, so you forget or can't see the loot all the way over there.

I agree with this idea, although I believe any poor not picked up goes straight to the post master

If you miss loot drops that are uncommon or higher they are mailed to you.
-
IT'S AWESOME IT GETS MAILED TO YOU ANYWAY. No sense of crying over spilt milk.
-
Maybe try not sprinting through each level as if you're speed running it ;)
-
I added this idea to my post as well in hopes of getting it added!

And more drops in general.

there seems to be a huge trend on these forums where if you leave feed back the naysayers simply assume your bad or state that they don't have a problem. if its not a problem for you great but if it is for others and it doesn't take away form your experience in any way why comment in the negative at all? if someone is having a hard time with visual acquisition of loot why not support them instead of saying "look harder your bad"?

Forgotten so many weapons only to notice in the last few seconds and had to sprint over to get them. Maybe add an aura of light so you can see it more clearly.

I agree. The tiny little white triangular pyramid that drops from Sepiks Prime, Devil Walker and Nixis in Devil's Lair that contain Ether Seeds and House Banners are barely noticeable sometimes and you need to run back and forth where he died for the last 30 seconds before being teleported out, and they are especially hard to see against the snowy backdrop. Making them as large as Encrypted Engrams for example might help, as would increasing the size of the normal white loot drop items perhaps?
-
Your Ghost should help you with that, pull him out and the stuff flashes or something like that would be nice.
-
I fall behind my fireteam making sure I don't miss any loot. I think it would be better if they glowed borderlands style.
-
Edited by Typhoon M: 7/25/2014 8:52:04 PMI think loot should just be added straight to inventory. I think its already personal, so no one can pick it up
-
I agree. I either miss things, or run around over ammo that I can't pick up because I'm full trying to find items and have to play catch up with my team.
-
Agreed.
-
In the Alpha the Mail Robot had all your missing items... I dunno why they remove that form the BETA. But I would be mad if I miss Green/Blue/Purple/Yellow
-
could not agree more. I hope that this is something they take to heart. I miss a lot of stuff being colorblind anyway, but they really need to make it more noticeable.
-
+1 loot needs to be more identifiable on the ground. This is the only thing I don't like so far. People love looting!

How can you not notice a geometric cube that's glowing bright green?
