Why are we forced out of an area and back into orbit 30 seconds after a mission ends? Especially when that mission area is already seamlessly part of the open world?
Why can't the 'Mission Complete' screen simply load up whenever we decide to go back into orbit.
I get that there are cut-scenes between some missions, but these can load up the next time we get to the Tower.
The 'Mission end' structure at the moment really breaks the sense of immersion.

Yeah I found this a little odd as well. I'm hoping it's just because it's a beta portion of the game and that you can choose to just continue on in free roam after a mission rather than go to orbit.
-
I agree. I think it should just be left to the Ghost to return to Orbit so the player has the option.
-
I didn't understand this either. It makes it feel like this isn't an open world game.
-
It seems the game would flow better if there was a way to accept missions without going into orbit such as the bounty boards in borderlands. Dialog could still be delivered via the ghost just on the ground..
-
Yup, totally agree with this.. I do understand, they wanted you to fo back to the tower for a new mission and rewards, but that should be up to the player.. everything felt pretty linear. .

When you do missions you will notice that the whole world does not load some places are blocked so even if you were allowed to stay in the area it would be restricted. It would be best to let the player have an option to pick the next mission or pick explore mode.
-
Yessssss!!! This NEEDS to happen.
-
This is a cool idea, but some areas that you go into as part of a mission are restricted entry to solely that mission.

i thought story missions where abit short and easy, will the full game story missions be longer (bigger), more of a challenge?. and yes there shouldn't be a 30 second cut off for a open explore game. should have be able to continue exploring.
