So many people have trouble with the black screen, well i have a xbox 360 arcade and got past it! you need to make sure your hard drive is microsoft, released especially for the xbox 360, have enough room for the beta and xbox live gold (NO TRIALS), just google xbox 360 hard drive images to see which ones i mean, in case for slim its probably the official 250 GB hard drive!
